About Green Master
Green Master started small in West Jordan and stayed small on purpose. Lamont built it. His two sons came up alongside the work — first hauling pipe, then setting heads, then running calls of their own. Today the three of them are the crew on most jobs.
We stick to south Salt Lake County. West Jordan, South Jordan, Riverton, Sandy, Draper, Herriman, Bluffdale. That's the radius. It's how a sprinkler call placed in the morning gets a truck in the driveway the same afternoon, and how a name on the schedule stays a name we know — not a ticket number.
The work itself is plain. Sprinklers turned on in April. Heads adjusted, leaks chased, controllers reprogrammed through the summer. Lawn care and the landscape jobs that pay the bills in between. And in October, before the first hard freeze rolls down off the Wasatch, we blow every line out so nothing splits over winter.
Same family, same trucks, same valley. It's how we like it.

The crew
Three Fabers on the schedule. One of us is the crew that shows up — and on a bigger install, all three of us are.

Sprinkler & irrigation
Came up in the trade
Runs most of the sprinkler turn-ons, repairs, and October blowouts. Knows every old controller in the south valley.
Landscape & maintenance
Came up in the trade
Heads up the maintenance routes, lawn care calls, and the landscape construction side of the business.
When you call, one of three of us answers. When we show up, it's the same name on the truck that's been on it since the early 2000s.
What we do — South Salt Lake County
Two decades-plus of doing the same handful of things well, on the same kind of yards, in the same valley.
New systems sized to the lot, the soil, and a Wasatch summer. Heads, valves, controller, the whole loop.
Stuck valves, broken heads, low pressure, mystery wet spots. October blowouts so nothing splits over winter.
We lay the system out before any pipe goes in the ground — coverage maps, zoning, controller logic.
Trenching, mainlines, manifolds, drip runs. Done clean, marked, and documented.
Plant choice for a south-facing Wasatch yard, plus the grading and drainage to back it.
Beds, borders, sod runs, light hardscape. The full install, not piece-meal.
Ongoing route work — trims, edges, bed cleanup, seasonal rotations through the calendar.
Cuts, fertilizer, weed and crabgrass control. The basics, kept up the way a Wasatch yard wants.
Drainage corrections, grade-to-the-house fixes, prep grading before sod or beds go in.
The yard calendar
Twenty-plus years on the same kind of yards — here's the rhythm we work to. We don't fight the climate; we schedule with it.
April
First warm stretch after the snow's off. We pressurize each zone, walk the heads, replace anything that froze through the winter, and dial the controller in for spring run times.
May
Core-aerate the lawn before it heats up, drop the spring fertilizer round, and start the weed-control calendar. This is the month that decides what August looks like.
July
Hottest run of the year. We re-walk sprinkler coverage, fix any dry spots that surfaced under July sun, and bump controller times so the bluegrass stays in shape.
September
Fescue blend overseed where the lawn thinned out, fall fertilizer round, and the start of the cool-down adjust on the controller. The yard's prepping itself for winter.
October
Before the first hard freeze. Compressor on every zone, lines blown clear, controller shut down. This is the call we hate skipping — split lines in November cost real money in April.
December
Driveway clears for clients in the regular rotation, plus the off-season repair work we couldn't get to during the busy stretch.
Same calendar, same family, every year. If you've worked with us before, you already know what month brings what call.
Where we work
West Jordan is home base. We stay inside the south valley because that's how the response time stays fast and the same crew keeps showing up on the same yards.
The radius
What we don't drive to
We don't run trucks up to Salt Lake City proper, out to Park City, or south of the Point. Tighter radius, faster response.
Reviews — South Salt Lake County
Green Master has been on our lawn for seventeen years. Lamont does great work and gets out fast when something breaks. We recommend them to friends and neighbors.
Lamont keeps our lawn weed-free and green. He's cheaper than the bigger outfits and the work is honestly better.
Crabgrass that the previous company couldn't kill — Green Master had it handled in one season.
Fast and fair. They came out, fixed the sprinkler zone that was flooding the side yard, and the price was the price.
These guys actually answer the phone. Sounds like nothing — try calling four other landscapers in May and you'll see why it matters.
October blowout, every year, on the calendar. Never had a split line.
